The Perigord truffle originates from the Southwestern region of France known as Dordogne, specifically Perigord, often being called the “diamonds of Perigord”

The Perigord Black truffle is considered the finest edible fungi, characterised by a subtle aroma and earthy flavour reminiscent of a rich chocolate.

The event consists of a four course meal, where you will be seated in our main restaurant area, seating up to 24 guests.

We endeavour to create a “guestaurant” experience, where you will be made to feel like you’ve come home to dine for the afternoon.

It’s an intimate afternoon with truffle heavy dishes, both delicate and relaxed components to the meals you will be served.

As with all of Memorys private functions, we like to create a menu where there’s an element of surprise on the day and to put your trust in our team that you will be served something special, leaving an indelible impression.

We wanted to create an event that was accessible to the wider public, to give those who haven’t experienced the unique and poignant flavours of the black truffle, a chance to tantalise their taste buds, furthermore for all those seasoned truffle lovers to come and enjoy the harvest of the Perigord truffle.

Memorys is an intimate boutique establishment, 25mins South of Christchurch City. Set amongst a mature landscape with recycled brick courtyard and adjacent handcrafted spaces providing a unique and ambient atmosphere.

We look forward to seeing you at Memorys.
