A food and wine celebration of the fantastic underground fungal treats, is to be held in Christchurch and it’s surrounding areas and yet again Kings Truffles will be participating.
The festival is designed to give everyone a chance to taste truffles, and discover why they’re such a wonderful gourmet experience. There will be something for everyone, from the first time truffle taster to the aficionado, and a chance to learn how and why they’re doing so well in Canterbury.
The truffle festival is a collaboration of the region’s truffle growers, and supported by a wide range of local restaurants, chefs and wineries. The aim is to create a food and wine event which will celebrate the coming of age of the New Zealand truffle business and become one of New Zealand’s premier gourmet experiences — cementing Canterbury’s place on the global food and wine map.
